Lodi has been described as an undiscovered jewel. There are over 85 wineries in Lodi Wine Country. And wineries outside of the local area also produce wine from Lodi's grapes. The Lodi Appellation has a climate that lends itself to growing many varieties, as evidenced by the over 125 varieties of winegrapes coming from the region.
